In partnership with Magic Motorsport USA, VIEZU are pleased to deliver the StageX 3 Day Beginner Diesel Training Course, held at the brand new Magic Motorsport HQ in Texas this June. This immersive hands-on course is tailored for beginners who want to confidently tune diesel vehicles using the powerful and AI-supported StageX platform.

Whether you’ve been flashing ECUs using pre-made files, or you’ve been hesitant to start tuning altogether, this course bridges the gap between technician and calibrator. You’ll learn how to understand, modify, and build your own diesel tuning files – not just copy someone else’s.

No prior experience with StageX is needed. If you’re new to file writing, diesel tuning, or simply want to stop relying on others, this course is the ideal foundation.

What You’ll Learn Over the 3 Days

• Day 1 – Diesel Tuning Foundations
  – Overview of diesel combustion, ECU control and file structure
  – Understanding key maps: torque limiters, boost, fuelling, smoke control
  – Navigating the StageX diesel interface
  – Working with StageX AI map detection and recommendations
  – Safe orientation and adjustment of early tuning files
• Day 2 – Stage 1 Diesel Tune Building
  – Building a complete Stage 1 file from scratch
  – Adjusting turbo control, rail pressure, and air-fuel strategies
  – Managing basic DTC strategies and system flags
  – Guided file development with your own data
  – Map refinement based on real-world tuning logic
• Day 3 – Modified Components and Advanced Use-Cases
  – Tuning for uprated intercoolers, intakes and exhausts
  – Smoke control and safe delivery of torque
  – Working with DPF, EGR and Adblue removal (for motorsport/export use only, where legal)
  – Final file development project: Build and present a working diesel tune with support
